That’s right, if you want to buy a custom MagicBand on your trip to Walt Disney World, you now can. The new MagicBand on Demand station opened recently in the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co. building, which is located next to the exit of Space Mountain.
Inside, guests can choose from eight colors and over forty graphics to create their own personalized MagicBand. At the end of the process, the MagicBand can be customized to include the guest’s name.
In addition to customization of MagicBands, the location will also feature the ability to customize a D-Tech phone case. The price of these MagicBands is $21.95, and the addition of a name will bump that up to $29.95.
Overall, this sounds like a pretty cool new way to customize your experience at Walt Disney World, but I’m not sure that I would pay over $20 to customize something I will only wear on my trip to Disney World. It’s overpriced unless you will be visiting multiple times throughout the year (and even then I’m not sure it’s worth it).
