Yesterday, at the D23 Expo, a new restaurant was announced for the Magic Kingdom. The restaurant will be themed to one of the most famous and popular attractions at any Disney park, the Jungle Cruise.
The restaurant’s name will be the “Skipper Canteen.” It will feature rooms themed to things such as the Jungle Cruises skippers’s mess hall and a once hidden adventurers society room. The staff will be Jungle Cruise skippers. The restaurant is slated to open later this year.
To me, this sounds like it will be a well themed and fun restaurant. I definitely need to eat there next time I’m at the Magic Kingdom!
