Doswell, VA (September 8, 2015)—The Overlord is back and he will summon hundreds of monsters to take over the park for the 15th frightful season of Halloween Haunt starting Friday, September 25th. Haunt 2015 features nine mazes, six scare zones and six live shows. Guests can also enjoy more than 20 thrill rides as fog and darkness blanket the park.

The horrors grow to epic proportions at Halloween Haunt as Kings Dominion introduces two brand new mazes, an all-new show, and a vampire-themed bar:

Lockdown
More than half a century ago an infamous riot claimed the lives of dozens of men at Doswell State Penitentiary. Following the massacre, the prison was abandoned and left to crumble. Today the prison is finally being reopened and you’re the first to get inside. All visitors are encouraged to stay on the marked paths, or you may find yourself the next victim of this never-ending Lockdown.

Tollway Terror
Take a drive on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and experience the sights and sounds of the mountains after dark. A warning to any outsiders: According to local legend creatures lurk in the woods at night, rumored to prey on drivers who take a wrong turn. Sit back, relax and ignore the screams of other visitors as you take a ride on the Tollway Terror.

Unstrung
The battle lines have been drawn and the outcome is unknown. Join us for this all new, multimedia infused production unlike anything ever seen at the Kings Dominion Theater. In this tale of oppression and suffering, will the Puppet Master regain control over his dolls or will they succeed in overthrowing him? In the end, who will become Unstrung?

The Annex at Club Blood
The Annex at Club Blood is now open! While you enjoy fist pumping music, our specially trained Vampire Bartenders are serving up the hottest specialty libations and craft brews which are sure to get your blood pumping. Don’t worry, we’ve asked them not to bite!

Test your limits and experience fear beyond your worst nightmares with the return of Skeleton Key Rooms. In this exclusive test of ultimate bravery, guests can unlock a secret room within select mazes and scare zones where they will come face to face with terror in tight spaces, uncomfortable situations and unforgettable dark encounters in rooms designed to test the boundaries of their worst fears. “Skeleton Key” is exclusive to Fright Lane guests.

Dining at Kings Dominion during Haunt can be frightfully fun. Spend the evening with our slightly demented Executive Chef for a culinary event you won’t soon forget. The Haunt VIP Meal features an exclusive menu each nigh featuring Chef Paul’s special concoctions and more. This year’s theme is Alien Autopsy…. Will you survive coming face to face with these infamous creatures before they return to their home planet?

Monsters rise each night of Haunt at 7 p.m. during the Overlord’s Scaremony as he calls forth all of his minions and sends them out into the night.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure. I am not a big haunt fan and I haven’t been to the event this year. I hope you can find it though!
