In 2016, Idaho’s largest theme park, Silverwood, will be installing a brand new slide in their Boulder Beach waterpark. This new slide will be a racing mat slide which is currently unnamed.
The six lane slide will stand at 55.8 feet tall and will be 405.9 feet long. The experience will begin with a helix and guests will continue into a double down before a splash ending. Riders will hit a top speed of 30mph on the head first experience.
The model of the ride is probably a WhiteWater Attractions Whizzard slide. These slides are always good additions to any waterpark, and it will definitely be a great new installation for this park when it opens next year.
As I mentioned earlier in the article, the slide is currently unnamed. This is because Silverwood is currently holding a contest to name the slide, and the winner will receive some awesome items from the park! You can enter the contest here!
