UPPER MARLBORO, Md.  September 22, 2015  Six Flags America is preparing to unleash the biggest Halloween event in the region. Fright Fest® 2015 promises 24 haunted attractions including five all-new 
frightful features. In addition to the park’s signature collection of thrill rides speeding through the dark of night, 
Six Flags America is introducing five new Halloween attractions for 2015  the park’s Scariest Fright Fest ever! When the sun is up during Thrills by Day, the park will have a festive fall harvest feel with lots of friendly ghosts and ghouls for kids of all ages. With a total of nine family-friendly attractions and three all-new family attractions  Kids Halloween Dance Party, Monster Mash Bash and Stage FrightStarring Joe Romano there are plenty of thrills for all ages. When the clock strikes 6 p.m. the park goes dark  as in creepy, crawly, scary dark. Beware of The Awakening, which launches Fright by Night and transforms the park into a wicked hunting ground for the undead. This year Fright by Night boasts fifteen attractions with five all-new shows and events. The parks new haunted house, Terror Toy Shop, has a holiday theme including wicked elves who are scheming with Santa Claws to plan a reign of terror. The house is filled with demonic teddy bears, demented dolls and twisted gingerbread men who will terrorize guests as they venture through this new haunted attraction. 

“Fright Fest is one of our favorite events,” said Rick Howarth, park president. “We’re able to showcase the amazing talent at Six Flags America and provide our guests with the ultimate terrifying experience. We’ve been 
in pre-production for our 24 shows and events since early this year. With five new attractions including Terror Toy Shop and our award winning stunt show Immortal Covenant: A Stunt Revolution this year is going to be the scariest ever.” Fright Fest opens Saturday, September 26 and runs every Saturday and Sunday until November 1 with special Friday openings on October 16, 23 and 30 at 5 p.m. for Fright by Night only. On select nights the park will remain open until Midnight, please check the website for hours of operation. Many of the Fright by Night events 
are rated “two skulls” and are not recommended for guests under 13-years-old.
