Every couple of years Schlitterbahn break incredible records for the waterpark industry. Most recently, they built a 170 foot tall waterslide called Verrückt at their Kansas City park. This was the tallest slide of all time. Today, they announced yet another record breaking slide coming to their parks, Massiv.
Coming to Schlitterbahn Galveston in 2016, Massiv will be the tallest water coaster in the world. The exact height of the ride is yet to be announced, but the 926 foot long slide will be double the length of every other slide in the park.
Other interesting features on the WhiteWater Attractions manufactured slide will include a translucent section above the lazy river allowing guests to look up into the slide, four uphill sections, and a triple drop into the landing pool.
The slide will be located towards the back of the park. Parts of the slide are already being manufactured and will be sent to Galveston soon.
