If you had asked me just a few months ago if I thought that Disney would bring the Muppets to the Magic Kingdom, I would’ve said absolutely not, but then rumors began to spread about a possible Muppets show coming to the second floor of the building that houses The Hall of Presidents. Today those rumors were confirmed!

“The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” will debut this October in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. The extremely patriotic Sam the Eagle is leading a patriotic show in an attempt to set a “high moral standard” for the Muppets. Several Muppets characters will join him to tell the stories of significant moments in American history in the style of the Muppets. This means there will be humor and even an original song. The live show will be presented multiple times throughout the day.
