A few months ago, Sea World Orlando announced that they will build the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Orlando, Mako. The other day, the first track pieces of this B&M hypercoaster left the B&M manufacturing plant in Ohio. On twitter, several posted updates on where the track was with #MakoSighting. Today, the first pieces arrived at Sea World Orlando.

The construction of this ride has reached a big milestone today. I can’t wait for Sea World to complete this major new ride. I hope this helps Sea World recover from the awful effects of the movie Blackfish. For more updates on the construction of Mako, I recommend heading over to our friends at Pixels at the Parks. They frequently post fantastic construction updates!
