That’s right, Cedar Point is granting fans a wish they’ve had for years! On September 16th, Cedar Point will be closing their Mean Streak wooden coaster.

The ride opened in 1991 as a record breaking wooden coaster that is still one of the tallest, fastest, and longest today. Over the years, it has become famous for being an extremely rough ride.

As for what is replacing it, we are not sure yet. Although there has been a rumor that a Rocky Mountain Construction redo of the ride would occur this year, the park has not confirmed this yet. A replacement could come for next year or sometime in the next few years, we will have to wait and see!
