Hello readers! It’s been a while since you last heard from me (my apologies of course) but alas I am back with a construction update of Six Flags Magic Mountain’s brand new Justice League Battle For Metropolis dark shooter ride coming in 2017. The last time I checked up on this area structures of the old theater were still standing and the entire plot of land is now all dirt. So let’s see what’s happened since the Summer!

Fences now surround the area of the old Theater.

If you're new to all this news formerly a Dolphin Theater turned Batman themed this old attraction entertained many back in it's day. Since the early 2000's the structure stood vacant deteriorating slowly over the years and has been only recently torn down this year. This is what it looked like a few months before demolition.

The entire area has been completely changed, the statues have since been removed along with the very old El Bumpo entrance.

Sneaky shot from under the fence 😉 as you can see there are several markers everywhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if construction got underway soon!

More various markers around the area, no vertical construction has taken place and there isn’t much ads for the ride anywhere but that’s most likely to take place in the up and coming months.

*UPDATE* My mistake everyone Riddler’s Revenge never closed after all it eventually might but it didn’t when this was first posted my apologies everyone.

There will probably be some more path changes in the area as well to have an emblem in the ground and a queue area, along with that the entire Movie District area will be closed until the opening of this ride meaning Tidal Wave and the beloved Riddler’s Revenge will be closed for a few months. Hopefully that means a much needed refurbishment of Tidal Wave and a repaint of Riddler’s Revenge, these past few years it’s seen some better days paint wise, it’s a very greasy and faded looking Coaster and with the repaint it would be bound to catch peoples attention as it is a very large ride.

Sadly I didn't get a chance to ride Riddler's before the closing due to the massive line

Sadly I didn’t get a chance to ride Riddler’s before the closing due to the massive line, after all it’s an amazing ride.
